Recipe ingredients
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp ground coriander seed
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 green onions, chopped
1 tsp ginger powder
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups water
salt and pepper to taste
8 oz tempeh strips
2 cups oil for frying
Recipe directions
To make batter, combine first 8 ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix until the mixture becomes a thin cake-batter like consistency.
Dip tempeh into the batter and fry them one at a time in the oil until golden brown. Serve fried tempeh immediately.
